Reputable dealers are listed in phone directories and online directories. There are sale and purchase codes applicable to every dealer and the most important criteria for sale and purchase is to provide proof f ownership of the car. A reputable dealer should take the car title from you to ensure it is not stolen property and protect both the company and you.

Just remember, you don’t have to buy everything “new.” They know me well at the local junk and salvage yards in my area and I saved a bundle on things like doors and windows. Some stuff will need to be new, but buy salvage as much as you can.

Every state and town has at least a salvage yard where useful parts of dilapidated vehicles are salvaged for re-use. Most of the parts would be non-functional. But even the most dilapidated vehicles have a usable part either on the inside or on the outside.
