On Wednesday, Feb 27, I had the fortune to be interviewed by Dr. Hadar Lev-Tov, MD, a professor of Dermatology on the University of Miami, on the standard chinese medicine language medicine approaches to psoriasis. TCM herbs for treating hyperthyroidism embody Rehmannia (shu di huang), Dioscorea (shan yao), and Cornus (shan zhu yu). Kidney Yin Tonic (Liu Wei Di Huang Wan) is the herbal method most often used. Proper illustration is Li Ch’ing Yuen (he had been called Li Chung Yun in one other source), who’s reputed to be about 250 years previous when this image was taken.
