Saturated fat has long been the bad boy of the fat world. This is because the saturated fats contained in animal products and vegetable oils (long chain fatty acids – LCFA’S) are bad for us. Most oils added to processed foods are also hydrogenated. This means that they undergo a process to make the oil harder, but this is very bad news for our cardiovascular health; as it then becomes much easier for the fat to stick to our arterial walls and become plaque. However, the fat in coconuts is different. Coconut oil contains medium chain fatty acids (MCFA’S) – and this makes all the difference.
Cannabidiol benefits It is the richest source of omega-3 essential fatty acids (EFAs), most notably EPA and DHA. These are essential fats that cannot be produced by the human body. While they can be found in plants, like flax seeds, fish is a much better source.
Cannabidiol oil The source of the oil is very important. You need to look for a fish that naturally contains a lot of DHA. Most of the fish in fact are rich in EPA instead. You may not be aware of it, but the Hoki fish found in New Zealand is rich in DHA and is a good source of oil.
medical uses for Cannabidiol It has only been in recent years that we have learned of the connection between chronic inflammation and cancer. We have known for many years that free radical damage caused changes in cellular DNA that could lead to the formation of a cancerous growth.
There are, however, some interesting theories, having to do with a person’s diet. Some foods contribute to the production of inflammatory hormones, while others contribute to the production of less inflammatory ones. Both are still used by the body in many of the same ways. But, when the more inflammatory hormones are produced consistently, they start to damage the body.
