The Perils of Pauline was directed by Louis J. Gasnier. The film was also cut for the release of a 28mm version in France. It was selected for the National Film Registry. Universal Studios rereleased the movie in 1967 as a re-released comedy. Paramount Pictures also reissued the film in 1947 as a Betty Hutton vehicle.
