What’s with the Bored Bunny Rugpull?

So what the heck happened here? I’m hearing it’s a scam. But how the hell did they get so popular? Tons of followers, selling out in like 10 minutes. How does something get that level of hype and then turn out to be a rug pull? Wouldn’t there have been signs?

creator NFT took all the money and ran yes it was a rugpull. These people here probably holding bags.

But how did it take off like wildfire then? That’s the part I don’t get. Usually if something is that huge from the start, it’s backed by such big pockets and crypto wallet may make money a variety of people, you can’t just have one dude steal it.
