Area exploration has taken some hits in the twenty first century, ganonime with cuts to the U.S. and other international space program budgets. However with the Curiosity Rover on Mars as of August 2012 and plans to launch the “most highly effective rocket in history,” the Area Launch System (SLS) by 2017, NASA is still very much within the enterprise of the long run. After the deliberate, unmanned sendoff of the SLS in 2017, NASA intends to send a crew of up to 4 astronauts into space by 2021. This may very well be a return to the moon, with capabilities for missions on other planets [sources: Landau; NASA].

There are all kinds of wacky laws in the U.S. regulating what folks can and cannot do on Sunday. This is essentially a mirrored image of the nation’s Puritan roots. Restrictions on alcohol gross sales (and the Chick-fil-A rule in opposition to opening on the Sabbath) stay in place in many states, cities and towns, but they’re hardly the one sobering Sunday prohibitions nonetheless enforced by the fun police.
