NASA is about to open applications for its next generation of astronauts, the space agency introduced Tuesday. With 48 astronauts in its energetic corps, NASA says it needs more people who find themselves qualified to crew its spacecraft as it seems forward to the Artemis missions to the moon, and to later missions to Mars. Will probably be accepting purposes between March 2 and March 31.

“We’re on the verge of sending the first woman and subsequent man to the Moon by 2024,” Jim Bridenstine, NASA administrator, stated in a press release. Bridenstine mentioned a “handful” of individuals will be employed to hitch the astronaut corps.
