And Gene Simmons added a new property to his estate with the purchase of a sprawling Beverly Hills mansion to the tune of $10.5 million.
Simmons, 72, sold his long-time Beverly Hills home in September before picking up a massive compound in on his quest to move out of the state of , only to re-list the Sin City abode due to his lack of interest in the local weather.

The KISS frontman’s new home was designed by Swiss architect Design21 with glass, steel, oak wood and concrete overlooking the mountains and valley crevice to the depths of the Pacific Ocean.
Spanning across 7,741-square-feet, the four-bedroom, five-bathroom home is two stories and is partially solar powered with roof panels to heat the pool and radiant heated floors.
Scenic views aren’t limited to the outdoors as sophisticated designs provide mirrored hallways with an open floor plan, expansive kitchen, dining, living room and a home theater.

Simmons, who hails from New York, said in May that he is moving to a 24-acre estate in Washington, near Mount Rainier, in order to pay less in taxes compared to California.
‘California and Beverly Hills have been treating folks that create jobs badly and the tax rates are unacceptable,’ Simmons told The Wall Street Journal.

‘I work hard and pay my taxes and I don’t want to cry the Beverly Hills blues but enough is enough,’ he said.
He sold his longtime Beverly Hills home in September and set out for Vegas to live in the $8million mansion he purchased earlier this year, but Simmons told the Las Vegas Review Journal that his family didn’t want to move to the home because of how hot the area was.
Although he gave the mansion a shot for a few months, once he went on tour it sat vacant as his family wasn’t willing to live there, so he opted to put it back on the market for almost twice what he paid for it, and listed it in October for $14.95 million.
When the rocker was asked if he might buy another home in the area, Panele he replied: ‘Can you speak with God and change the weather?’
