It is suggested that you do some research before you have an emergency if you will be looking for parts. Research some sites and find a few that are appealing. Then try looking for sample parts that you might need in the near future or pretend to need them and see if you can find them. This will give you an idea of what you can find on the site.

Believe it or not, you might be able to sell your used tires. If they are in usable shape, but simply need a patch, a junkyard might be willing to buy them from you in order to repair and then resell them. In fact, you can actually make quite a bit of money selling used tires to the right junkyard if you shop around to find one that will pay a decent price. Some people have used this to bring in a secondary income for their families, placing ads in the local papers collecting other people’s used tires for free, and then reselling them to a local 2009 chevy malibu.

Use your creativity, make something out it. Don’t say that this is only for artistic person; everyone can create something out of a piece of crap. We’ve witnessed that some people would even make use toilet bowls in making a flower pot, and then why not use auto parts instead. Build a masterpiece out of a couple of junks from machines to car batteries, into a work of art such as metal sculptures. They who knows, some collectors would even pay you for what you’ve than, and you’ll end up earning from this craps.

Most salvagers are only willing to pay a little more then half of what they can make off the car. So, if your asking price is more then 65% of what they can make, then they will more then likely walk away from it.

No matter what ever part you are searching for at low price, many retail stores of auto parts are offering the parts at discounted rates. Most common of these parts are steering rack, belts, brake pads, AC compressor, water pump, catalytic converters, tail light, hoses, water blades, headlights, starter, condenser, muffler, etc.

Some companies will pay less money for cars they have to collect taking into account the distance and extra expense they have of offering this extra service.

If the vehicle is in working you could drive it to the scrap dealer or have it recovered there. Otherwise if this isn’t feasible then the you could contact them and the scrap yard will come and collect it.

You’ll want to get a list of junkyards in the area first. Try using a local directory, or a service like Google maps. Then you’ll want to head outside and measure your car’s tires. This is the most important step for a great fit! Pull out your spare and start measuring that. If you don’t have the spare, you can measure a regular wheel.

Also, you can contact a junk yard, as to what car part you have so they can pick it up on your home. In some cases, the junk owner will even pay you for whatever useful things you would give him. They will inspect the parts first to make sure they do something about it in order to be resold. However, if the parts are just piece of crap, then the junk yard will be responsible in disposing them.
