A woman has revealed how she injected her ‘dull’ kitchen and bathroom with personality for under £200 – using cheap online deals and her decorating skills.

Sophie Eggleton, from New Haw, bought her first flat in Surrey in April 2019, and despite knowing it wouldn’t be her ‘forever home’, she was keen to give it her own touch – on a budget.

The content creator decided to steer away from the bland uniform look it had, and make it a vibrant modern space to live in with a few simple touches.

Sophie painted over her kitchen floor 우리계열 with a £19 tin of Earthborn dark grey slate-coloured paint and over the tiles with white paint, 우리카지노계열 before adding a £19 rattan rug and mirror to the wall.

She then bought three tins of £19 Frenchic paint and painted the cupboards white, and adding new cupboard handles for £28 – giving it a fresh new look and dotting some pre-owned plants around the cooker. 

She said: ‘I used Swanky Pants on the cupboards, Blackjack on the floor and 우리계열 Dazzle Me on the tiles.

‘I put the final coat on the floor last night in fact.Apart from one print and some pasta containers there’s nothing new in here, it’s all stuff I already owned. 

‘It’s amazing what a bit of paint and some accessories can do for a homeowner on a budget! There’s still some tweaks to do like new handles and 우리카지노 I’m debating black grouting the white tiles areas’. 

The thrifty homemaker then proved how easy it was to make a small few changes which modernise the overall look of the home.
