Immigrants into EU Member States in 2019 had been, on average, a lot younger than the overall inhabitants already resident of their nation of vacation spot. On 1 January 2020, the median age of the full inhabitants of the EU stood at 43.9 years, whereas it was 29.2 years for immigrants in 2019.
