The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest model in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model is dry and wet. It comes with the upgraded AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system Ecovacs, which offers enhanced mapping and obstruction-free operation. The system is equipped with dual laser LiDAR that is similar to the one used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan up to 32 feet across by 270 degrees. This means more precise mapping and faster response times and better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with a rotating mopping pad constructed of chenille, which makes it easier to scrub hard spots than traditional mopping. In my tests the X2 Omni washed its pad in just a few seconds and then got to work. I noticed that it was more precise than other models that seemed to follow a grid around rooms. It was adept at navigating my rooms with its corners and edges as well as create an “Zambani pattern” that ran up and down the center of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station frequently to empty the trash bin and wash the mop with hot water prior to beginning another task of cleaning.

The Deebot T10 is an excellent robot vacuum that delivers impressive results. It removed more than 96% debris from our hardwood floors. This is a remarkable performance. It did a great job on tiles and carpets, removing 99% of dirt.

This robotic mop and vacuum comes with a large docking station that offers cool water cleaning for the mop pads, auto-emptying into a 3L plastic bag that’s simple to replace, and hot air drying for quick and simple maintenance. This budget-friendly choice from a well-known upstart brand is the most affordable robot we’ve tested yet and offers an exceptional value for the cost. Its basic navigation system is based on a basic random pathing algorithm and it’s not able to map rooms. This renders it less efficient than other models in this list. It’s still able get under furniture and into the corners. Mopping mode performed well in our tests and picked up hairs that were straying and other debris.
