17.00: A record amount of Premier League goals have been scored today and every single one of those games has an incredible story to go with it. It really has been an astonishing day’s football.
And it’s not finished yet, with Wolves set to host Manchester United in the evening kick-off.
You would be a fool to write them off following the events that have already happened today and you can follow the 5.30pm kick-off with Sportsmail on this website.
For now that is all from me thank you for following.
16.58: After taking a breather for a second. Here is how the table looks at both ends.
Arsenal’s failure to hang onto a four goal lead means they are four points behind Manchester United having played a game more and a point in front of Manchester City.
Wigan’s win takes them out of the bottom three and relegates Birmingham into 18th.
City’s clash at West Ham tomorrow suddenly has become that more important.
16.55: Full-time: Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal

16.45: GOAL! NEWCASTLE 3-4 Arsenal
Now we have a contest! The penalty is slightly harsh after there appeared to be little in Koscielney’s challenge on Mike Williamson on the edge of the box, but the Toon Army are on a ruthless streak and Joey Barton scores the penalty.
16.44: PENALTY (Newcastle)
16.43: GOAL! EVERTON 5-3 Blackpool

Another equaliser for Fulham, after Clint Dempsey heads in Danny Murphy’s corner. This is a bonkers aftyernoon.

It can only happen to Ian Holloway’s side, somehow they are in front after Charlie Adam heads home DJ Campbell’s shot that hit the bar.

The Latics are comfortable now and it’s not often I say that. James McCarthy fires in his second of the afternoon that left Robinson helpless.
16.13: GOAL! Tottenham 1-1 BOLTON
Howler from Heurelho Gomes. Daniel Sturridge scores two in two for his new club but the Brazilian really should have done better with the striker’s left foot shot from 16 yards.

He had to go but this will have no effect on the game, Diaby pushes Joey Barton to the floor before squaring up to Kevin Nolan.

Goal crazy: Louis Saha (left) celebrates scoring for Everton
16.06: GOAL! EVERTON 2-1 Blackpool
On the balance of play this is deserved. Leighton Baines sends in a lovely cross into the box and Louis Saha grabs his second of the afternoon. The Frenchman has never scored a hat-trick.
16.03: Back underway in the Premier League.
16.00: Pantsil won’t thank me for bringing this up either. All credit to :
Pantsil scored 3rd PL own goal of season, equalling most ever og scored by player in a single PL season (Jakobsson for Southamp. in 04-05)
15.55: Wow, 13 first-half goals. That’s nearly one every three minutes.
15.49: Half-times everywhere in the Premier League.
15.47: Incredible scenes at White Hart Lane! Spurs are awarded a third penalty at White Hart Lane after Mark Davies’ blatant hand ball.
But after Mark Clattenburg awards the spot-kick he then performs a u-turn on his decision after a short discussion with the assistant. And I can’t honestly see why he has done that, it was a stonewall spot-kick.
15.46: Half-time: Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham
Half-time Everton 1-1 Blackpool

15.15: GOAL! ASTON VILLA 1-0 Fulham
Stewart Downing’s cross in the box is too high for Darren Bent but not John Pantsil who heads into his own-goal.
It was actually a good finish, not that he will take much consolation in that.
15.12: It was so nearly a repeat of the first goal for Spurs. Van der Vaart again tucks away a fortunate spot-kick for Spurs after Sam Ricketts was harshly booked for a foul on Aaron Lennon.
But the Dutchman was forced to take it again and this time Jussi Jaaskelainen manages to save ‘take two’.
15.11: GOAL! Newcastle 0-3 ARSENAL
The Gunners are running riot! Walcott is involved again as he plays Robin van Persie in the box who makes no mistake to fire past Harper. This could be a long afternoon for the home fans.
