The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that’s mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn’t have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn’t lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It’s not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It’s the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It’s a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is better still–its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it doesn’t have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it’s an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best robots on the market. What makes the Q Revo apart is that it’s designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren’t often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it’s more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that’s accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you’ll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences.
